When the Enemy Has to Reveal Himself
Isolation Is Positioning, Not Weakness
There is something I have learned about spiritual warfare that most people do not openly discuss. When I isolate myself, it is not because I am wounded or incapable of maintaining relationships. It is because I understand the power of positioning. I intentionally step back from constantly reaching out, constantly explaining myself, and constantly inserting myself into every dynamic. I stop chasing connection, and I allow space to exist between myself and others. In that space, something very revealing happens: people have to make the decision to approach me.
When someone has to approach you rather than you always approaching them, their intentions become much clearer. You are no longer entangled in their environment trying to interpret mixed signals or justify behavior. They are entering your space, and in doing so, they reveal the posture of their heart. Whether it is family or friends, once you remove the constant effort on your side, people eventually expose who they are and what truly motivates them.
The Two Categories That Become Visible
When you begin operating from awareness rather than emotional reaction, patterns become obvious. From what I have observed, most people fall into two categories once you stop unconsciously participating in every dynamic.
The first category is what I call bots. These are individuals who operate through programming. They repeat what they are told, defend narratives without examining them, and react almost automatically to certain triggers. They may not consciously intend harm, but they are highly influenceable and easily steered. Because of that, they become liabilities within spiritual conflict. They reinforce systems without even realizing they are doing so.
The second category is parasitic. These individuals are more invested in the outcome. They benefit from you remaining confused, distracted, doubting yourself, or energetically drained. They rely on access to your time, your emotions, and your focus. When you begin to wake up and withdraw unnecessary access, they feel the shift immediately because their stability depended on your lack of clarity.
One group operates unconsciously, while the other operates with intention. However, both categories reveal themselves once you stop feeding the pattern and begin observing instead of reacting.
The Projector Effect and Spiritual Discernment
In Human Design, I am considered a Projector, which means my role is not to chase but to see. A Projector observes, discerns, and illuminates dynamics that others may overlook. When I step back and allow people to approach, their motivations surface naturally. I do not need to accuse anyone or create confrontation. Simply holding my position and remaining observant is enough for patterns to expose themselves. People reveal themselves through overreaction, defensiveness, entitlement, or subtle manipulation, and once you see it, you cannot unsee it.
We Wrestle Not With Flesh and Blood
In Gnostic teachings attributed to Jesus, there is the understanding that we wrestle not with flesh and blood, but against principalities. The real battle is not the person standing in front of you. It is what operates behind them. It is influence. It is structure. It is unseen forces working through ego, fear, insecurity, and programming. This is not necessarily about cutting everyone off, although I prefer strong boundaries. It is about discernment. When conflict arises, you ask yourself what is really behind this wrestle. When someone reacts to your growth, what is operating behind that reaction? When someone consistently drains you, what system is benefiting from that? This shifts everything.
When Darkness Is Forced Into the Light
Darkness can operate indirectly for a season through distraction, subtle manipulation, gossip, or emotional pressure. However, when you become conscious and stop participating unconsciously, the strategy changes. If the enemy intends to stand directly against a chosen one, he must eventually reveal his position. Exposure is not something you have to force. It happens naturally when the illusions you are no longer participating in can no longer function comfortably in your presence. That is why I pray daily that anything hidden be exposed, dismantled, and destroyed. This prayer is not rooted in fear, but in the desire for clarity, because once something is visible, it loses the camouflage that gave it power.
When Exposure Involves People You Once Trusted
The most difficult aspect of this process is not strangers. It is when people you once trusted begin to display patterns that align more with maintaining the illusion than with supporting truth. You may begin to recognize that some individuals are easily programmable and highly influenceable, while others seem invested in keeping you small, distracted, or energetically depleted. This realization can be painful because it challenges long-held assumptions about loyalty and connection. However, it also brings clarity. The system sustains itself through proximity and emotional attachment. Some individuals become liabilities because they can be used without awareness, and others become draining because they choose to benefit from your confusion. When you position yourself intentionally and observe instead of chase, their true alignment becomes evident over time.
Let Them Reveal Themselves
You do not have to argue, force exposure, or convince anyone of what you see. When you hold your position and refuse to participate in the illusions, people reveal themselves on their own. If someone is aligned, it will show. If someone is not aligned, that will also show. The enemy, in order to confront someone who sees clearly, must eventually show his hand. And once that happens, the illusion begins to weaken. Recognizing that we wrestle not with flesh and blood allows you to focus on the truth behind the confrontation rather than getting caught in personal offense, and letting people reveal themselves becomes a tool of clarity and discernment rather than reactive struggle.
