Higher Consciousness: Protecting Your Energy at All Costs
There comes a point in every spiritual journey where simply “being aware” is no longer enough. Awareness is the doorway, but protection is the discipline that allows you to keep walking through that doorway without being pulled back into old energies. As you rise in consciousness, you begin to see how much of this world operates on unseen exchanges of energy; thoughts, emotions, agreements, and even environments can carry frequencies that either uplift or drain you.
For me, the deeper my walk with God became, the more I began to feel this reality. It wasn’t just about avoiding negative people or staying away from certain situations. It was about realizing that energy is currency, and what I allow into my field; through conversation, media, food, thoughts, or even casual interactions, has a direct impact on my spiritual state.
The Higher You Rise, the More Vigilant You Must Be
One of the first lessons I learned about higher consciousness is that elevation attracts attention. When you shine brighter, both light and darkness see you. This isn’t a reason to fear; it’s a call to become disciplined. Protecting your energy at all costs means taking responsibility for your spiritual hygiene just as much as your physical hygiene.
Prayer, fasting, and setting firm spiritual boundaries are shields. As I began fasting and praying regularly, I noticed how the atmosphere around me shifted. People, situations, even random encounters began to feel different. My discernment sharpened. I could sense immediately when something was off or when an interaction was trying to hook me into a lower vibration.
When we speak of protecting our energy, we’re not only safeguarding ourselves from harm; we’re preserving the clarity and strength necessary to carry out our calling. Every time we allow chaos, distraction, or hidden agreements to attach to us, it muddies the water of our own consciousness. And because we’re all connected, that muddiness can ripple outward, affecting our families, communities, and even those unseen who are silently rooting for us.
Scripture calls us to “be sober and vigilant” 1 Peter 5:8. Vigilance isn’t paranoia; it’s awareness with action. It’s knowing that your spiritual field is precious, and that maintaining it allows you to stay in alignment with God’s will.
Personal Strategies for Protecting Your Energy
For me, this understanding didn’t stay theoretical, it became deeply practical. During some very strong energetic seasons into 2025, I had to implement strict measures to hold my frequency. I began leaving my house with AirPods deeply tucked in my ears and making a conscious effort not to make eye contact with anyone I wasn’t planning to speak to or engage with.
As someone who’s targeted, I started noticing how the same shenanigans replayed over and over to provoke distraction. Whether it was a cyclist stopping in the middle of the road and pretending something fell out of his pocket to cause a scene and stop traffic, or groups huddling and making loud noises to stage “street theater,” these things became a common occurrence. Over time, I grew immune. I even realized that some of these situations might have been real scenarios, with real individuals playing out their own drama, it didn’t matter. I was and am completely uninterested in other people's narratives. I enjoy peace and solitude, my own space and bubble.
I had completely unplugged from the matrix. As I don’t live in a big city, it became easier to do so. I can’t say how it would feel in a crowded environment where you have to stay alert or navigate new spaces. But for the most part, here in the small ville I live in, in France, I unplugged entirely. As strange as it sounds to walk around with earplugs or AirPods in, not to listen to music, but to block out overheard conversations; it works. I did this not because I’m nosey or interested in others’ conversations, but because it was obvious that many NPCs purposefully tried to speak loud enough for me to overhear, especially when it was top-secret or scandalous things. They enjoyed making their way to wherever I was to chat it up. This simple, extreme-sounding measure became a powerful way to ensure that by any means necessary, I held the frequency I wanted to maintain without being tricked into overthinking looping thoughts about what other people said every other minute. Especially since the comments were all meant to pull me into the same crumbling and decaying narrative from Barcelona which by now was beyond it's expiration.
Tools for Protecting Your Energy
Prayer and Fasting – These are the most powerful ways to cleanse your spiritual field and stay aligned with God’s voice.
Boundaries – Saying no to certain conversations, media, or environments is not selfish; it’s stewardship.
Discernment – Ask the Holy Spirit for discernment in every interaction, even seemingly benign ones.
Daily Spiritual Hygiene – Just like you shower, cleanse your energy each day through prayer, worship, and renouncing anything that does not belong to you.
Rising in Consciousness Means Rising in Responsibility
As you rise in consciousness, you’ll notice you can no longer do what you used to do without feeling it. You can’t watch certain shows, listen to certain gossip, or engage in certain thoughts without sensing the impact. This is not a punishment; it’s a sign of your growth. The more light you carry, the more sensitive you become to what is not light.
Scripture alludes to the idea that this world is not the ultimate reality. Paul wrote, “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face” 1 Corinthians 13:12, describing our current state as one of partial perception. Similarly, Jesus said, “They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world” John 17:16, affirming that chosen souls, flame carriers and light bearers, are in this world but not from it. These verses echo the sense that our daily experiences, like dream characters hinting at deeper truths, are reflections of a larger unseen reality. As we rise in Christ-consciousness, the veils of the simulation begin to lift, and the true Kingdom of God becomes clearer, even within the confines of this matrix-like world.
This is why protecting your energy is essential. Higher consciousness does not exempt you from spiritual warfare; it equips you to handle it. But only if you guard what you’ve been given.
Quantum theory suggests reality is not fixed but exists in probabilities until observed, a phenomenon known as the observer effect. In other words, where we place our focus literally shapes the version of reality that collapses into form. This is why our attention is so sacred. Every time we focus on fear, chaos, or distractions, we give energy to and help solidify those lower timelines. Conversely, when we withhold our attention from manipulative or draining situations and instead center on faith, peace, and higher consciousness, we collapse higher realities into being. Concepts like quantum entanglement further show that everything is connected beyond space and time, echoing the telepathic impressions and synchronicities many of us feel as we “wake up” in the simulation. In this sense, chosen souls act as conscious observers who not only withdraw their energy from false constructs but also co-create new, higher realities with God, revealing a truth science is only beginning to catch up to.
Light as Your True Protection
Ultimately, the greatest protection isn’t in building walls, but in becoming so filled with the light of Christ that darkness cannot attach itself to you. This doesn’t mean you won’t encounter attacks or draining people; it means their attempts will have no landing place in you.
When you live from higher consciousness anchored in God, your energy stops being an open field and becomes a consecrated space. You stop leaking power into distractions. You stop giving consent to what drains you. You unplug from the matrix by any means necessary. And you begin to shine in such a way that not only protects and strengthens you but also awakens those around you. Guard your eyes and ears as they are he doors to your consciousness. Guard them as if everything you ever wanted depended on those thoughts, views, or sounds you are allowing to enter your mind.
Closing Thought
Recognizing that your energy, your consciousness, your connection to God is sacred. The more you honor it, the more you can stand, serve, and ascend without being pulled back into old frequencies. And as you do, you don’t just rise alone; you create a space where others can rise too.
